Michael Luu

MS Candidate

Michael is a second-year graduate student studying On-Orbit Servicing. He received his B.S. in Physics from George Mason University and served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he worked as a Systems Engineer and Technical Advisor at DARPA, assisting the research and development of advanced rocket propulsion for hypersonic vehicles. His goals are to increase access to space, enable space-based internet, and make the world a safer place. Outside of school, he enjoys adventure sports, podcasts, gymnastics, and Olympic weightlifting.
