Skylar Eiskowitz

PhD '24

Skylar received her PhD in 2024, advised by Ed Crawley. She is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Fellowship, which helps support her research on autonomous satellite communication networks. She was a 2023 Matt Isakowitz fellow and a 2018 Brooke Owens fellow. Prior to her graduate studies, Skylar received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and has interned at Avascent, the Aerospace Corporation, Raytheon BBN, and SpaceX. Skylar was also involved in a research project where she built machine learning models for financial options, and she loves to share her passions for space systems, optimization, and finance through mentorship opportunities.
