Rodrigo Lopes Rose is a SM candidate in the Engineering Systems Laboratory at MIT, working under Professor Nancy Leveson. He obtained his bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2022, with a focus on aerospace system safety, and applications of machine learning to commercial aviation safety. At MIT, his research is focused on applications of systems theory for the improvement of safety in a variety of fields, including aviation, healthcare, and more.
