Nick earned his PhD with Professor Daniel Hastings in 2025. His research focused on space system design and tradespace analyses, and his thesis is titled “Quantifying the Utility of Spacecraft Refueling and Repositioning: A Technology Maturation-Based Tradespace Approach.”
