Natalie Basnight

SM Candidate

Natalie Basnight is an active-duty Army Aviation Officer and S.M. candidate within the Systems Safety lab group. She is an Army pilot who is researching systems safety methods applied to future military helicopters to optimize survivability and operational success. After her time at MIT, she will serve as an undergraduate professor at the United States Military Academy (USMA) in mechanical and aerospace engineering. Natalie enjoys spending time with her husband Peter, son Michael, and dog Koa.
