Jonathan Novak is a graduate student in the Technology and Policy program at MIT. He received his Bachelors in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and currently serves as a Developmental Engineer (62E) for the U.S. Space Force.

His research in the Engineering Systems Lab focuses on the resiliency of satellite constellation architectures and production paradigms against natural solar events (e.g. coronal mass ejections).

Jonathan’s personal interests include volunteering, big data, space podcasts, teaching middle school and highschool, and snowboarding.
