Johannes earned his B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from MIT in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and completed, at the same place, his Ph.D. in Engineering Systems in 2022. His research focuses on accelerating space systems development by enabling digital continuity across lifecycles and leveraging integrated data through large language models and augmented reality. Prior to his Ph.D., he worked on developing hardware data management tools at Valispace, designing advanced aerospace concepts at Airbus and CubeSats at Thales Alenia Space.
