Elwyn Sirieys is a PhD Candidate (on deferral) in MIT AeroAstro’s Strategic Engineering Research Group with Prof. Olivier de Weck, conducting research at the intersection between space systems, sustainability and policymaking. He graduated in 2022 with a Master of Science from both the Technology and Policy Program (TPP) and the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His thesis investigated the environmental impact of space launch vehicles and societal response. Before joining MIT, Elwyn studied Engineering at Ecole Centrale Paris (France) and Law at Sorbonne University, then worked in strategy for Dassault Systemes and Starburst Aerospace Accelerator.
