Daniel Gochenaur
PhD Candidate
Daniel Gochenaur is a PhD Candidate in MIT AeroAstro’s Strategic Engineering Research Group with Prof. Olivier de Weck. At MIT, Daniel is conducting research in multidisciplinary design, analysis, and optimization for applications in space and hypersonic systems. In 2021 Daniel graduated with highest distinction from Purdue University with a bachelor’s in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. In 2022, he graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s in supersonic aerodynamics and shock wave-boundary-layer interactions. He has previously worked with the Air Force Research Laboratory, Boeing Virtual Warfare Center, and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
